The AHA's Heartsaver First Aid Course is a classroom, instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide first aid in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Students will learn how to properly remove gloves, practice “Finding the Problem”, use of an Epi-pen and Inhaler, and how to stop bleeding. Upon course completion, the student will receive a course completion card valid for two years.

The Heartsaver First Aid Course requires the First Aid Student Manual. Please call the Training Center at 444-2375 to make arrangements to picking up the student manual. If you cannot come by the hospital, we will be glad to arrange to have the manual mailed to you.

Before the class: Ensure you have read the Heartsaver First Aid student manual prior to attending the class.
