This course is considered to be blended learning where the student has completed the online portion of the course and is prepared to demonstrate competencies (skills) to the instructor. Length of the course is dependent on student knowledge and ability to perform skills competently and WILL NOT last more than 4 hours unless the instructor deems it necessary.
You must complete the online portion of the ACLS course, called HEARTCODE ACLS. Contact Rick at rlayng@sphealth.org for your keycode if you are an SPH employee. Once completed, you must print out the "Course Completion Certificate" and bring that copy with you to class. The course completion certificate must be handed into the instructor! If you are not an SPH employee, go to shopcpr.heart.org to complete the online course.
Please be sure to bring your current AHA BLS card to class as well.
