We will be hosting a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course beginning on October 10, 2022. Classes will run from 4-8pm for 3 weeks, followed by clinicals on nursing units during the 4th week at times and days arranged with the instructor and People Development. Participants will then take the CNA exam to become certified.

This CNA class is open to applicants, both internally and externally. Those who are interested in participating in the class will need to apply for a CNA or aide position that is currently posted on the St. Peter’s Health website or register on the sphealth.org website.

Applicants accepted into the course will be eligible for a full course scholarship conditional upon a 1 year commitment to St. Peter’s Health and may be paid a lesser wage until such time as the course is completed.

We will offer paid seats for which registrants are responsible for course and exam fees at a cost of $895.00 in the event that you know of someone who would like to take the course now and potentially be employed later.

CNA course Process:

1. Notify your Director/Manager of your interest in participating in this training program. You must be an employee in good standing to be eligible to apply.

  1. Apply for a Certified Nursing Assistant position that is posted on the sphealth.org website under “Careers”.

    3. Interviews will be conducted by the leadership in the department you have applied for. You will be contacted to set up this interview by the department leader.
