Participants will demonstrate Adult CPR and AED use (1 & 2 person CPR), relief of choking, and use of barrier devices in adults, children, and infants.  The students will perform “High-Quality CPR” and will do so using the “Team Dynamic” approach taught through AHA.  All classes at St. Peter’s Hospital are taught according to American Heart Association Guidelines. Following successful completion of this course, participants will receive a two-year certification in Basic Life Support Provider CPR with AED. Cards will be e-mailed and will arrive no later than five days after the course paperwork is received in the training center

Ensure you have read the Basic Life Support Provider CPR with AED student manual prior to attending the class. Obtain a keycode for the on-line portion from me at rlayng@sphealth.org The student must print out the “Certificate of Completion” and bring that with them to the Skills Test Out.</p
