Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-OB 200123-24

This two-day course implements the AHA ACLS guidelines established in 2015. Information will be provided via mini-presentations focusing on critical points related to specific algorithms, with each case scenario involving a pregnant or newly delivered patient. The content of the ACLS-OB class should be used to facilitate/drive conversations regarding:

• The physiologic changes in pregnancy and how these changes predispose OB patients to risk of cardiac arrest
• Modifications to the ACLS algorithms when caring for pregnant or newly delivered patients
• How these necessary modifications will change how we provide care for our patients

Please note that ACLS-OB and ACLS are two separate courses taught over two days.
